Maxine Robbins is a qualified physiotherapist and athletics coach with a passion for Nordic walking. As a British Nordic Walking Instructor, she's dedicated to helping people discover the benefits of this enjoyable and effective exercise. Maxine believes in the power of active lifestyles and is passionate about helping people of all ages and fitness levels discover the benefits of Nordic walking.
With over 35 years of experience in healthcare, Maxine brings a wealth of knowledge to her Nordic walking sessions. Whether you're looking to improve your overall health and fitness, rehabilitate an injury, increase your endurance, or simply enjoy a fun and engaging outdoor activity she can tailor her approach to your individual needs to achieve your goals through Nordic Walking.
As a Nordic walking specialist with a physiotherapy background, Maxine offers personalised training, group sessions, and guidance on technique and equipment.
Stride into Health also has a Walk Leader, Wendy McDonald to assist with group sessions.
Wendy McDonald
Wendy McDonald is a qualified British Nordic Walking Leader. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, Wendy brings her joy of exploration to her Nordic walking sessions, where she helps people to build their strength and confidence in the outdoors. Her mantra, “You’re never too old to learn something new”, resonates not only in her work with her clients but in her recent personal achievement taking part in the Nordic Walking World Championships in Finland.
Her training as a sports massage therapist also gives her a great insight into physical wellness, allowing her to guide her clients in Nordic walking while supporting their physical needs and capabilities.
Through her work, Wendy hopes to motivate others to stay active, try new things and explore the beauty of nature - one step at a time.
